I am blogging from Bangkok right now for I am attending two meetings:
- To seek the audience of H.E. Abhisit Vejjajiva, the Prime Minister of Thailand. We are to cover a broad range of issues such as ASEAN’s role in the future, key economic and trade possibilities between our two countries, regional security issues, and the youth’s role for the future. I will blog further regarding the meeting when I return back to KL on Friday.
- I am also here to attend the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Myanmar Caucus (AIPMC) to discuss about the pressing issues of Myanmar. Parliamentarians from other ASEAN countries, such as the Singapore Foreign Minister will join me to raise issues regarding education, youth, and democracy in Myanmar.
