Nurul Izzah Anwar, the MP for Lembah Pantai, was present yesterday as one of the 4 panelists at Liew Chin Tong’s (MP for Bukit Bendera) launch of his book called, “Speaking for the Reformasi Generation”.
The event was held at the Annexe Gallery, Central Market, Kuala Lumpur from 4pm, along with 3 other panelists, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (State Assemblyman for Seri Setia), Hannah Yeoh (State Assemblywoman for Subang Jaya) and the author, Liew Chin Tong himself.
Nurul Izzah, in commending Liew’s effort in taking up the mantle to elucidate young readers as well as the older generation as to the movement of Reformasi, provided a warm though poignant recollections of her own struggle during that critical period. She further called upon the young to actively participate in the continuing journey of Reformasi, to embrace a future of hope and change in the Malaysian political system.
